Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Tinquer Hub ("Tinquer Hub," "we," "us," or "our") is a CRM and task management workspace for service businesses, built and maintained by Tinqbit Pvt. LTD ("Tinqbit"), with a dedicated Finance module currently in development. Tinquer Hub can be deployed as a dedicated instance for each customer organization ("Workspace"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected within a Workspace, how it is used, and the choices available to Workspace administrators and users.

Because Tinquer Hub is deployed per customer, the organization that operates the Workspace (your employer or client) acts as the data controller for information entered into it, and Tinqbit acts as the service provider / data processor that builds and maintains the software. If you are a member of a Workspace, please also refer to your organization's own internal policies.

2. Data we collect

Tinquer Hub only collects the information needed to run the product. We do not collect data for advertising purposes.

Account information

• Name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash — never in plain text)
• Role and module-level permissions (CRM, Task Management, and Finance once that module launches)
• Profile avatar image, if uploaded
• Account status (active/inactive)

CRM data

• Client research, contact, lead and deal records — names, emails, phone numbers, company and job details you enter
• Notes from calls, meetings, interactions and follow-ups
• Quotations and proposals, including line items, pricing and tax details
• Sales and call targets assigned to team members

Task management data

• Projects, folders, tasks, categories, priorities and statuses you create
• Task chat messages, @mentions, and message read receipts
• Files and documents attached to tasks or chat messages
• Time-tracking entries and a full activity log of task and assignment changes

Technical & usage data

• Browser push notification subscription details, only if you opt in to notifications
• Standard server logs generated by the application for operation and troubleshooting

3. How we use data

Information collected in a Workspace is used solely to operate Tinquer Hub for that Workspace, specifically to:

• Authenticate users and enforce role-based permissions
• Display, organize and search leads, deals, tasks, chats and documents
• Send in-app and browser push notifications you have enabled
• Generate exports and documents (such as PDF quotations) that you request
• Maintain activity logs for accountability and troubleshooting
• Keep the application secure and diagnose technical issues

We do not use Workspace data to train third-party AI models, sell it, or use it for advertising.

4. Where data is stored

Tinquer Hub stores Workspace data in a PostgreSQL database and on a file storage volume that belong to and are controlled by the organization operating that Workspace. Uploaded files are served only to authenticated, authorized users.

5. Third-party services

Tinquer Hub is designed to minimize third-party dependencies. As shipped, it does not integrate with payment processors, third-party analytics providers, advertising networks, or external authentication providers.

• Authentication — handled internally using hashed passwords and signed session tokens.
• File storage — documents and attachments are stored on the Workspace's own server.
• Push notifications — delivered via the standard Web Push protocol; your browser vendor acts as the delivery channel.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell Workspace data. Data may only be shared within your own Workspace according to configured roles, with Tinqbit personnel strictly to provide support or hosting you've requested, or when required by law.

7. Retention & deletion

Data is retained for as long as your Workspace is active. Records can be archived or soft-deleted by authorized users. When a Workspace is decommissioned, its data can be exported or permanently deleted at the organization's request.

8. Security

• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Sessions use signed tokens in secure, httpOnly cookies
• Granular, per-module role-based access control
• File attachments served only to authenticated, authorized users

9. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data. Because data is controlled by your organization's Workspace administrator, please contact your administrator first.

10. Cookies & sessions

Tinquer Hub uses a single essential, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for cross-site tracking or advertising.

11. Children's privacy

Tinquer Hub is a workplace productivity tool intended for employees and authorized users of business organizations, not individuals under the age of 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Tinquer Hub or applicable law. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
